I'm Shannon W., the breeder behind Love My Labradoodles located in Raleigh, NC. We are a small in-home breeder of Labradoodles focusing on producing amazing family companions as well as therapy & service dogs.
Q. & A. with Shannon
Why did you start breeding?
My father had bred Labs when I was younger and we had always been a dog family. I decided I wanted to give other families and individuals the opportunity to own a dog as amazing as our “Treasure”. I knew she had the potential of producing not only amazing family companions but also therapy and service dogs. I had many patients who had benefitted from both.
What makes your program special?
We focus on the health of the dogs, health testing all parent dogs as well as maintaining all parent dogs in guardian homes, not in kennels. Only breeding parent dogs who display the desired health and temperaments for amazing companions. We use a curriculum guiding our process from birth to the time the puppies go home with their families. Producing puppies that easily adapt to their new family.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include caramel, red, apricot, chocolate, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
