Why did you start breeding?
We love this breed! Our dogs have brought us so much love and happiness that we decided to start our own responsible breeding program by producing the highest quality dogs and providing them a wonderful life with wonderful families.What makes your program special?
People want healthy puppies but also need a breeder that cares about them too. When there is a good relationship between the breeder and the new puppy family, I believe the puppies have the best lives because there is support through the life of that dog. We offer families a very personable trusting experience and offer lifetime breeder support. We care about the families we work with and we enjoy working as a team to bring the right puppy home to you. Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
GenSol Diagnostics DNA Testing, DNA Disease Panel, Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

+4When I was searching for a new Papillon puppy, I was looking for a few things. A breeder that bred for health of the dogs, a breeder active in the dog community, that cared about the look of the dog, and was raising puppies with all sorts of experiences in their puppyhood to be well socialized to all sorts of sights, sounds, and experiences in their new life. I definitely found that with Cassandra. After having our get to know you call, I knew this was the breeder I was looking for. Bringing our puppy home was a great experience, even though I had never flown with a puppy before. She had worked with our puppy, Eiro, to be kennel trained, and trained to the carrier. He slept the whole flight home and hardly made a peep. He also slept through the night right away, which was amazing, since that had not been my experience with my other dogs. He’s fit so well in our little family and we love him so much! He’s been excelling in puppy training class, and travels well to work and back in his carrier. He has exceeded our expectations and we’re excited to see what our future holds, with possible agility and therapy dog work, and conformation! We highly recommend Cassandra for all the work she has put into her puppies.
