I'm Liz S., the breeder behind LS Best Friends located in Des Moines, IA. Pups from the previous litter have successfully completed in fastcat, agility, flyball, and barn hunt. They are wonderful with children and other dogs. They’re very easy to train, very loving, and high energy!

What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Papillon puppies are black brown and white. Miniature American Shepherd puppies are blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

"The price includes first rounds of vaccinations and deworming. All of my puppies are the same price, regardless of gender or color. They are placed based on the suitability of the home, not necessarily first come first serve."

About Dixie
Dixie is a female Miniature American Shepherd. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Liz decided to make her part of their program. Liz has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
