Meet the breeder

I'm Joanna S., the breeder behind LTT Corgis located in Algona, IA. We are lifelong dog enthusiasts, and we’re excited to share our passion and purpose with others through our breeding program. We just adore this breed and can't wait to share our love for them with you! We are passionate breeders and are dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding practices. We do all that we can to make sure our pups get the best care and go to the best homes!

Q. & A. with Joanna

  • Why did you start breeding?

I purchased my first corgi in college as just a pet. As much as I loved her, I could see a few physical flaws that concerned me for her longevity. I took this information and knowledge of animals in general to start to mold my perfect corgi. I strive for straight legs, compact bodies that are less susceptible to back issues, and very friendly personalities.
  • What makes your program special?

We raise all of our pups in either our home or a home of their own. We do not believe in mass production, and leaving our dogs in homes less then they deserve! Our girls are loved and raised like any other puppy and retired at a safe and healthy time. Our girls are family, and are ALWAYS put first! We also offer help to our families at any point after adoption of one of our pups!
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
