


I'm Erin L., the breeder behind Luthman Farms located in Huntsville, OH. Our goal is to produce pups of sound mind and body with great dispositions able to transition well from the farm to home life. Our dogs are an integral part of our farm and daily life. This creates the ideal environment for our puppies. From birth, they grow in a secure, loving environment where they know that they matter to their family!

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

"Should you wish to reserve a puppy; I will explain the process. A $300 non-refundable deposit will reserve a puppy and is of course deducted from the purchase price. Prices start at $2000. We respect this breed and make it our priority to place our puppies where both Owner and puppy will be happy for years to come. I’m looking forward to getting to know and work with you! I would love to help you find the perfect addition to your family! Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to the next litter."

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
