I'm Lucille H., the breeder behind Luvabull Kennels located in Lebanon, MO. We are working toward getting the breed back to the health it once was while keeping the breed pure. We now have a girl that looks more like the breed originally did and can jump higher and run without getting winded. We're passionate about raising well-rounded pups who will excel in any venue with their new families. Our dogs are family members first and foremost. We're passionate, responsible breeders who truly love our dogs and what we do.

Why did you start breeding?
My mother-in-law started breeding with the help of a good mentor. I started out collecting from the male for AI and then puppy sitting. She started teaching me things and became my mentor. When she was ready to retire, she gave me her dogs and continued mentoring me as I worked to establish my own program. The dogs are my passion and are just like my children.
What makes your program special?
We strive to expand the gene pool and to get the breed as close to the health that it once had. We have succeeded in a litter that can run without getting short of breath and can jump higher. They are more athletic but are still purebred. We are now in search of that perfect male to continue getting the breed back to what it once was. We will succeed while making loving, loyal companions.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
