I'm K Q., the breeder behind LUXEYPUPS located in Springfield, OH. I’m a small, part-time hobby breeder with years of hands-on breeding experience. My dogs are family first, and I stay personally involved in every litter. I’m committed to continued education, responsible breeding practices, transparency, and giving every puppy a loving, well-prepared start.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I began breeding because of my genuine love for dogs and the joy of raising puppies for families to love. What started as a hobby became a true passion. Through years of hands-on experience, I’ve continued learning about genetics, pregnancy, newborn care, nutrition and puppy development so I can continually improve my program.

  • What makes your program special?

    What sets Luxey Pups apart is our personal, hands-on approach. Pairings are planned with health, genetics, temperament and structure in mind. Our dogs receive quality nutrition, appropriate vitamins and prenatal support. Puppies are family-raised, socialized and given age-appropriate preventative care. I also work with a breeding partner who has the studs and also a Veterinarian Assistant.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Cockapoo puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies include wirehaired and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies include piebald, chocolate, fawn (isabella) and tan, chocolate and cream, chocolate and tan, and dapple. Yorkshire Terrier puppies include chocolate, tan and white, chocolate and tan, and parti. Miniature Schnauzer puppies include wheaten, parti, liver, and black. Cockapoo puppies include merle, sable, cream, brown white and tan, brown and tan, brown and white, and brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from K

K has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, K partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“At Luxey Pups, our goal is to create the best possible match between each puppy and their new family. We consider the family’s lifestyle, household, experience with dogs, desired temperament, size preferences, and overall expectations when helping them select a puppy.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit that secures a specific puppy. The remaining $1,500 - $3,500 is due before pickup, plus applicable taxes and fees.

“The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 7 days before the puppy’s pickup or transportation date. Puppies will not be released or transported until the full balance has been received. A $500 deposit is required to reserve your puppy. The deposit is applied toward the puppy’s total purchase price and officially secures your selected puppy, making them unavailable to other families.”

Contract & health guarantee

K may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
