Lynwood

Meet the breeder

I'm Kacy W., the breeder behind Lynwood located in Screven County, GA. Our dogs are bred for exceptional health and temperament. We strive to produce beautiful and versatile beloved companions! Lynwood is an ethical, focused program striving to produce dogs that excel in the conformation and performance rings as well as be stable happy family pets.

Q. & A. with Kacy

  • Why did you start breeding?

I purchased my first MAS in 2011 who I named Trigger. Trigger and I competed in numerous performance events in multiple venues. Trigger and I went on to earn 50 titles over 5 different venues. When Trigger was 3 years old I purchased Reve from the same breeder. She was Trigger's half sister and I instantly fell in love with her. Reve became the foundation of our program. Reve is also titled in multiple performance events as well as conformation. Reve has been ranked in the top 20 of her breed for three separate years and is one of the only MAS bitches with a silver level grand championship with multiple performance titles. I take pride on my dogs abilities both in the conformation ring and in performance events.
  • What makes your program special?

It's important to me that my dogs embody what a MAS should be. My dogs have proven themselves in and outside of the rings to be exceptional examples of the breed. More importantly my dogs are my pets first and foremost. They live with me in my home and sleep in my bed. My puppies are raised in my house utilizing the puppy culture raising method. This gives my puppies a great advantage when they move into their new homes with their new families. Our breeding dogs must pass all recommended health clearances before breeding. These include OFA hips/elbow xrays, eye exams, and testing for DM, PRA, CEA, MDR1, and HC. We take great pride in making what we feel are great matches in parents to produce puppies with purpose.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
