I'm Danielle, the breeder behind MadCity Frenchies located in Madison, WI. We are a small breeder in Wisconsin. We breed for health first! All our dogs live indoors with us and even share our bed! Our dogs are AKC registered and bred for great health and temperament. Health and structure must come first. Our dogs are spoiled and live their best lives here. They are exercised twice daily and fed high-quality food and supplements.

Getting to know your breeder and the environment in which your puppy is raised is so important!! We are committed to providing a clean, safe, and enriching space where our puppies can thrive. From an early age, we focus on teaching basic manners, providing daily enrichment, beginning the potty-training process, and, of course, giving endless love and attention. I pour my heart and soul into both my adult dogs and every puppy raised here. While the work is demanding and so time consuming, it is truly a labor of love! Each puppy that leaves takes a piece of my heart with them, and for that reason, every placement is made thoughtfully and intentionally into loving, forever homes. I’m so thankful to all my MadCity Frenchie families! ❤️ Here’s a peek at where our babies spend their first eight weeks!

About Milli
Milli is a small lilac and tan female weighing 21 pounds. She is the goofiest of the group, with a kind, sweet nature and a genuine love for everyone she meets. Milli has completed her genetic, DNA, OFA health testing and CHIC certification, with EXCELLENT results, a rarity in this breed. She is one of only 169 French Bulldogs in the US to have EXCELLENT hips. Only 3% are able to claim that fame, and we are very proud!! She is a member of the French Bulldog Foundation of America and the Legacy of Health program.

About Stormy
Stormy is one year old and a beautiful lilac and tan. She is Seven’s daughter and represents the third generation of our breeding program. Stormy is intelligent, curious, and delightfully sassy, while also being very affectionate. Once eligible, she will complete her OFA health testing. If she passes all required evaluations, we anticipate her first litter in early 2027

About Seven
Seven is a lilac fawn, she will turn five this year. She is an ideal size, weighing 25 pounds. She is ball obsessed, incredibly fun, and always ready to play, combining an adventurous spirit with a loving nature. As a second generation female in our program, Gigi’s daughter, she will have one final litter in winter 2026. Seven consistently produces beautiful puppies, often with striking lighter colored eyes

About Ember
Ember is a beautiful red fawn with an ideal size, much like her mother, weighing 25 pounds. She has a fun, laid back personality and is intelligent and affectionate. Ember especially enjoys car rides. As Seven’s daughter, she represents the third generation of our breeding program. She has now completed her genetic, DNA and OFA health testing (minus her eye certification, she is on the waitlist to complete that), with very good results.

MadCity Frenchies reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for French Bulldogs.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Tracheal Hypoplasia, Spine (OFA, FCI)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), Multifocal Retinopathy 1 (CMR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
