I'm Cynthia P., the breeder behind Mae’cee Beagles located in Warsaw, IN. We strive to produce healthy AKC Beagles with great temperaments for the show ring and for pets. When we bring a life into the world, we make sure it gets the best start possible. This includes proper health care and socialization for each puppy, but it starts even earlier than birth. We set our puppies up for success by carefully selecting the parents of each litter, keeping in mind factors such as health, temperament, and conformation. Our goal is to produce well-balanced puppies and find them loving, responsible homes.
Q. & A. with Cynthia
Why did you start breeding?
I had a low start as far as conformation goes when I first began. I had no idea about dog shows, etc... My first beagle was a great sturdy little hound with field champions in his pedigree. Though I never bred him, he gave me a great introduction to the breed. Soon after I got him, I found my first beagle girl that eventually became the heart of my breeding program.
What makes your program special?
I strive to always produce better than the previous generation both in conformation and health. Our dogs are shown in AKC events when possible. Our goal is to produce sturdy, merry, little hounds to preserve the breed and bring joy to the families that love them.
