Q. & A. with Jessica

  • Why did you start breeding?

My love and interest in animals was sparked as a young child. This love of animals eventually became a passion for producing healthy, good looking animals with great temperaments - with a focus on really evaluating each animal and striving for improvement with each generation. I've spent 20 years gaining experience and now enjoy watching our past babies thrive in their forever homes.
  • What makes your program special?

We focus on giving our puppies the best start possible. This starts at the parents—their health, structure, and temperaments. We make the best possible pairings to produce the best possible pups. Once born, we implement several protocols to ensure they go home healthy, happy, well-socialized and well started on crate and potty training. Come join our amazing community that is our MCC family!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include fawn, red, sable, and black and tan. American Corgi puppies include fawn and white, fawn, sable merle and white, sable and white, sable, red merle and white, red and white, red, blue merle and white, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

We don’t have enough wonderful things to say about our experience with Jessica (and her hubby)! Her genuine love for her fur babies was apparent from our very first encounter and it became even more apparent when she rearranged her schedule for us so that she would be the one to directly handoff our pup. She went above and beyond for us and that is an understatement. She is also very thorough and knowledgeable, as she answered all of our questions and provided us with everything we would need to help our little guy adjust and be successful and happy in his new home (and she had to do it on the fly, which is truly a testament to her professionalism and amazingness). Our new pup is so sweet and such a good boy already. You can tell Jessica breeds high quality fur babies and does a great job handling and socializing them. We have zero complaints and would get another puppy from Magnolia Creek Corgis in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!

Jessica was super responsive and sent regular updates. It’s clear she cares about the breed and is working hard to improve the standard by selectively breeding positive traits in her litters. Pickup was a breeze! Our puppy is super happy, confident and playful. I would not hesitate to recommend Jessica and Magnolia Creek corgis to another family.

From the start, Jessica went above and beyond and took time to give thoughtful, thorough, and caring responses to my many questions. She demonstrated that she cared not only for the puppies she was raising, but for our family and our desires, as well. She quickly earned our trust with her concern for all people and puppies involved in the placement process. She even made the going-home day particularly special for us by helping to orchestrate a surprise meeting for our kids, who had no idea we were adding a precious little corgi to our family. And since that day, Jessica has been a wealth of advice and encouragement throughout our transition and puppy-parenting. She is always ready to support and give helpful tips, and to cheer us on! We're so thankful for Jessica, and for the connection we share through our sweet puppy!

We had an excellent experience with Jessica at Magnolia Creek Corgis. She was very responsive to my initial message. Jessica is a wealth of knowledge about the breed and gave me so many tips to be a successful corgi owner. She asked us questions to make sure that a corgi would blend with our existing pack and a safe environment. Our pup had a fresh bath and smelled delicious on arrival. Jessica had even packed her a “go” bag complete with a litter mate blanket and halter with matching leash. Overall Jessica with MCC was an excellent experience for our family. Fur ever grateful!
