I'm Laura T., the breeder behind Magnolia Farm located in Magnolia, MS. At Magnolia Farm, each of my puppies are treated as one of my own dogs, from quality food and vaccinations to everyday play and attentive care. I hope to provide each of my customers with a life-long happy, healthy companion!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I became owner of my first dog, a Golden Retriever, as a young teen. I fell in love with the breed, perks and flaws! I am so grateful for the joy that my dogs bring me. They are a gift from God and I hope to share that same gift with others!

  • What makes your program special?

    My adult dogs are around other animals and outdoors every day all day. I truly believe this helps their temperament and behavior. This also helps me to fully know each of my dogs, and really enjoy their friendship! I believe that each animal is unique and special, and that not only do they provide friendship and joy, but that they each have a purpose, that they should be able to fulfill!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include dark golden and golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Laura

Laura has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Laura partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $700 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Contract & health guarantee

Laura may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA), Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Laura is amazing ! Laura was always available when I contacted her via Good Dog app. And I will say I was egar meaning I reached out a number of times. I found my lovely amazing “ Goldie “ on the Good Dod app on the day she was born. Also Laura met me at a place extremely convenient for me at her own expense of time and resources, that was going above and beyond expectations. I really appreciate the Good Dog app. And Laura with magnolia Farms. It’s been a week today Goldie is doing very well and is adjusting to our home so well and has already stole our hearts !
