I'm Kimberly K., the breeder behind Magnolia Hill Golden Retrievers located in Powhatan, VA. Bred from only American lineages, we produce puppies from AKC registered Golden Retrievers. The Golden Retriever has proven to be an excellent family companion and therapy dog. We choose to breed for their supreme characteristics. We breed based on bloodline, health, and temperament.
Q. & A. with Kimberly
Why did you start breeding?
When I was a child, my parents bred AKC Dalmatians. I was around puppies and breeding from toddlerhood. I knew one day I would also like to follow in my family's footsteps and continue the love of responsibly breeding the dogs that I love; Golden Retrievers. The Golden Retriever is not only a perfect family dog, but have proven to be wonderful therapy dogs for all that need the extra love.
What makes your program special?
We strive to improve the breed with each puppy we bring into the world. We focus on temperament, health, and conformation. Not only do our puppies come from health tested parents, but they are raised as part of our family in our home. They are prepared from the day they were born to be the best, loving, family dog.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
