I'm Whitney M., the breeder behind Mahaffey’s Doodles located in Winchester, TN. We are committed to always responsibly breeding with the best interest of our puppies’ health and longevity at the forefront. Raising puppies has been so much fun, although we take our role in raising them seriously. Breeding has helped us share the joy of our dogs with other families and individuals.

  • DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures (NEwS), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), PRA, Golden Retriever 2, PRA, Golden Retriever 1

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Whitney was the best breeder i could have asked for!! She answered any question i had about my pup quick and concisely! I even had a couple things pop up that prevented me from picking up the pup when I originally planned to and she and worked with me and said she had no problem holding him a little longer. If youre looking for a reputable dog breeder that sells great dogs and will also make sure you are taken care of as well then please get a puppy from Whitney!!

    Whitney has provided such immaculate service; it can only be described as an ideal or dream scenario. From the beginning, she has been ultra responsive, 99.9% of the time her responses are within 5 minutes of asking. She has volunteered all information that she could think of that would be relevant to inform my decision to purchase the puppy. I genuinely can't think I've had a better customer service experience for ANY purchase (let alone a puppy)! And all that was before I got to meet Ripley! She allowed me to come see her to confirm my decision, provided I remained in the car. This was impressive to me to allow me to come see Ripley and highlighted that she really cares for her animals and will do the proper steps to protect them. Having Ripley, it's obvious that the environment she was raised in was loving, secure, and disciplined. - Ripley loves me and loves meeting people. She is not afraid of others, including cats. This was especially important for me as I have an older cat, and the introduction went better than I could ever imagine. - Ripley was clearly raised in a secure home as she knows to approach me and sits between my legs if something startles her. I have seen friends or family puppies get startled and then run away from their owners because the puppy didn't know security from the previous owners. - Lastly, Ripley was clearly well-disciplined cause when called, confirming good behavior, or discipling bad behavior; she is familiar with those commands already. Whitney asked early after the deposit what I was going to name her and has been reinforcing her name. Whitney also has done some early crate-training and house training, which was extremely welcomed as early introduction has basically been accident free. All in all, my wife and myself whole-heartedly agree that Whitney has been an excellent breeder and would recommend her to any looking for a puppy from her.

    Found Whitney on Good Dog. Whitney was quick to respond and sent update pictures as requested. Whitney had a lot of knowledge about the breed. We ask if she could hold the girl we where interested in until the next day. Without hesitant she did on our promise to be there in the morning to meet the puppy. Our story We picked our Skyy Stormy up the very next day after reaching out to Whitney. Skyy has adjusted well to her new environment. She has not cried the 1st time. Skyy Stormy slept 7 hours and did not have any accidents in her den. She only had one accident since she has been home with us. Skyy Stormy has warmed up to her fur siblings. She is the perfect addition to our crew! We could not be more thankful for Whitney and the opportunity to have one of her little darling. Andy & Cindy
