Planned Golden Retriever litter
Due Aug. 2026
I'm Stephanie V., the breeder behind Maple Ridge Goldens located in Newfield, NY. We breed 1-3 litters of Golden Retrievers in our home each year. Our dogs will fit best into active pet, sport or hunting homes. Each parent we select is fully health tested and titled, and we provide early stimulation, socialization and training for every litter before puppies go home.
Why did you start breeding?
What makes your program special?
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Where do your breeding dogs live?
Stephanie has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

"All puppies are priced the same, regardless of sex. All puppies will come with vet checks, age appropriate vaccinations, limited AKC registrations, and a health guarantee. Ownership contract required. Deposits are taken at the time of application, which secures your place on the list for that litter. Deposits refundable until the puppies are born and are applied to the total price of a puppy."
Stephanie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Stephanie offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Stephanie directly.
You can drive or fly to pick up your puppy from Stephanie.

About Whiskey
Whiskey is 3 years old, and this litter will be her first. She has completed all health testing, including Hip and Elbow OFAs, passing cardiac and eye exams with OFA, and a full genetic panel. Whiskey is titled in multiple sports, and is so much fun at home with her sweet, mild mannered temperament and silly personality. Whiskey is friendly with people and other animals, and has a great off switch in the house with appropriate amounts of exercise. We are so excited to see how Whiskey is as a mother, and what her future puppies are like, and we are so excited to welcome them!

About Auggie
Auggie is a male Golden Retriever over 2 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of his breed, Stephanie decided to make him part of their program. Stephanie has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

About Harper
Harper is the inspiration for our breeding program, our first dog who had the potential for us to make this leap! Harper joined our family in April of 2021, and she has been a fantastic addition since the day we brought her home. Harper has so many wonderful qualities that we want to see in future puppies, and has sold us on the all that the Golden Retriever breed has to offer! She is sweet, happy, easy to train, full of energy but also loves to calm down and snuggle with "her" kids. Harper is a "drivey" dog who loves to work and play in the multiple sports she competes in, but she also has a fantastic "off switch", making her the perfect companion in sports and at home! Harper has proven to be an excellent mother, being extremely gentle and attentive with both litters that she has had so far. I've been extremely happy with both the structure and temperament that she has produced and am excited for this planned litter!
