I'm Alison M., the breeder behind Marion Standard Poodles located in Decatur, AL. We love our dogs and our role as breeders, and we strive to make each of our puppies a great contribution to its forever home. We breed Standard Poodles with a focus on intelligence and personality. Our dogs are considered members of our family, and we give each dog and puppy all the attention and care that they require to live happy, healthy lives.

Why did you start breeding?
We love this breed! Our dogs have brought us so much love and happiness that we decided to start our own responsible breeding program by producing the highest quality dogs and providing them a wonderful life with wonderful families.What makes your program special?
Our puppies are raised with love in our home, and we strive to help each one grow up with confidence so they are ready to leave with their new families. They are affectionate, intelligent, and cute as can be!What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $100 - $1,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Price includes health guarantee, first shot, and a well socialized puppy. The deposit is to hold your puppy until time for pickup. The deposit will be credited towards your final payment.”

Alison may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures (NEwS), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
