I'm Hannah S., the breeder behind Matra French Bulldogs located in Olympia, WA. There is so much work & time that goes into breeding & caring for French Bulldogs. We love every moment of it. Health is a huge part of our breeding program. With structure coming in a close second. We strive to breed French Bulldogs with minimal health obstacles. Next litter: Spring 2026.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We started breeding French Bulldogs in 2021 after adopting our first Frenchie during Covid. We were blessed to be associated with an amazing French Bulldog mentor, who coached us through the first two litters we had. James from Love my Pups was our mentor; he is one of the leading experts on French Bulldog breeding.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our breeding program focuses on love, health & care. We breed French Bulldogs because we love them & love having the opportunity to work with these dogs in such a special way. You can pick up your French Bulldog either in Thurston County or King County (Seattle), or we will be happy to meet you at the SEA airport if you are flying in. We also offer delivery to other certain locations for a fee.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, fawn, white, blue, black and tan, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Hannah

Hannah has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $350 non-refundable deposit and between $2,650 - $4,150 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our puppy price includes the first Parvo vaccine and one dose of Nobivac® Puppy-DPv. We deworm our pups at 2wk, 4wk, and 6wk. First two deworming with Pyrantel Pamoate, third with Safeguard. Deposits are non-refundable.”

Contract & health guarantee

Hannah may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Hannah offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Hannah directly.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

    Hanna responded quickly to my inquiry and answered all my questions. She set up a video call time that worked with our schedule. She made the whole process very easy. I met her at the airport to pick up little Taquito (Sao Paulo). Hanna has answered any questions I had after I picked him up. I would definitely work with her again in the future.
