Meet the breeder

I'm Linda M., the breeder behind Maxwell House Schnauzers located in Blountville, TN. We are breeding Miniature Schnauzers to the breed standard with a concentration on health and temperament. We do Early Neurological Stimulation which improves the growth and development of the pup’s immune system, cardiovascular system, and stress tolerance. Temperament testing approximately 7 weeks is also done. DNA, Heart and Eye tested have been done on all parents. They are clear to have healthy puppies.

Q. & A. with Linda

  • Why did you start breeding?

We have had many dogs over our 53 years of marriage and many as children. I used to play house as a little girl with my dogs, the puppies being the babies. We have started many times to start breeding but found that to do things right it required more time and money than we had while raising our 4 human children. We decided that we needed to share the Miniature Schnauzer with everyone.
  • What makes your program special?

We go all-out to raise the very finest of the Miniature Schnauzer breed. Every sire and dam is family to us. They are raised and loved in our home, given the best veterinary care and watched over as a mother and father would their own children.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include salt and pepper, black, and black and silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
