Q. & A. with Mark

  • Why did you start breeding?

My mom use to be a small breeder and it always amaze me to see puppies born and how families will be so happy receiving their first fur baby. And because I just love fur babies and because I want to continue making families happy and complete one family at a time.
  • What makes your program special?

Because we start our breeding program with health tested parents first. We have 20 years of experience with breeding. We only breed friendly happy healthy parents. We wait until our fur babies are the appropriate age to start breeding. Last but not least we really care and love our fur babies and take pride in what we do here.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Cavapoo puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Maltipoo puppies include merle, parti, apricot, brown, red, silver, and black & tan. Cavapoo puppies include brown, tri-color, red, and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Working with Mark was such a great experience. I was nervous about getting a puppy from Good Dog, but Mark made us feel comfortable right away. Communication was easy and consistent the whole time — every question we had was answered quickly and thoroughly. Even though we’re in New York and they’re in California, everything was handled smoothly and our puppy made it here safely without any stress. We always felt informed and reassured throughout the process. You can really tell Mark cares about his dogs and wants them going to good homes. Our puppy arrived healthy, happy, and clearly well cared for, and we’re so happy to have this new member of our family. The whole experience felt personal, not transactional, which meant a lot to us. If we ever decide to get another puppy, we’ll absolutely be going back!

Mark is an exceptional breeder. We FaceTimed before I committed, and it was immediately clear the puppies were being raised in a loving home environment with hands-on care and attention. My Maltipoo, Winnie, is everything I hoped for. She is confident, affectionate, playful, and extremely well-socialized — a direct reflection of how she was raised. I picked her up at the airport, and she arrived freshly bathed and calm. She handled the flight and the long drive home to Tahoe without any stress. From the first night, she slept through without issue and settled in seamlessly. She passed her first veterinary exam with a perfect bill of health. Everywhere we go, people stop to comment on how beautiful she is. She was a significant investment, but the quality, temperament, and health speak for themselves. We could not love Winnie more. She is truly special.

Marc was so helpful through every stage of this puppy adventure. He wasn't pushy when I showed interest in the beginning, and he gave me time and space to make my own decision. He is very knowledgeable about raising pups, as he shared inside information from his last 20 years plus of breeding little puppies. Our Maltipoo is beautiful and healthy, and he's adjusting remarkably to his new home. Thanks, Marc!

Mark was easy to talk to and pleasant. His information on the fur baby was up to date. He showed my husband where they keep the littles and my husband was impressed. Me? I got the joy of my life a 2 lbs sassy, intelligent force of nature that sleeps on my chest!! I could not have asked for a better dog.
