Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

We had such a wonderful experience with McJares Puppy Palace from start to finish. Choosing a breeder felt so easy thanks to Sandra—she was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process and consistently shared videos and pictures of the litter, which made us feel so connected even before bringing our puppy home. She took the time to answer all of my questions about litter box training (which was totally new to me), and I can confidently say it’s been a fantastic supplemental option for our Pepper girl. Pepper already knows exactly where to go and doesn’t linger—just in and out to do her business! Even more impressive, she’s also been seamlessly going potty outside—by day 3, we had zero accidents. The delivery option was the perfect fit for us. Jody brought Pepper straight to our home, and the entire experience was seamless and thoughtful. They arrived with all hard copies of her vet records, recommended vitamins, and the sweetest goodie bag—including a blanket that smells like her siblings, her favorite donut squeaker toy, a bully stick, treats, and even a bag of her kibble. Pepper has completely settled in with me and my husband—we are absolutely in love. She’s playful, incredibly cuddly, and everything we hoped for in a poodle. We are so excited to watch her grow. Sandra is an excellent breeder. Our new dog arrived wee-wee pad trained and very sweet. She answered all of our questions and is very experienced. Most importantly, she loves her puppies and takes great care of them. She even followed up to see how he was doing and has been very helpful with our training. I couldn’t recommend her more.
