I'm Jodi & David M., the breeder behind Meadows Golden Retrievers located in Linden, NC. We love to responsibly raise and train our puppies so they have the tools to be well-rounded, beloved family members. We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. It’s our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes!

Why did you start breeding?
When David graduated from high school, he bought his first Golden Retriever from his principal who was also a breeder of Golden Retrievers. His principal taught him a lot about the breeding process as far as raising healthy puppies. David has always loved animals. Growing up he raised chickens, rabbits, goats, guineas and quail. He was very responsible while taking care of all his animals. He and I enjoy raising and breeding Golden Retrievers.What makes your program special?
The parents are on site. They are AKC registered with Champion bloodlines and titles. We raise our puppies in our home. We play with them and cuddle them to help their socialization skills. They are introduced to different stimuli around our home including sounds, different flooring, steps and people. They will be well rounded, happy and healthy when they go to their new families.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include golden and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

“The price includes a $250 nonrefundable deposit to reserve a puppy. AKC registration, vet check and 1st set of vaccines, deworming, socialization and health guarantee.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

+4Jodi was a pleasure to work with. We saw their post for our puppy and made arrangements to see him the following day. We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a group of gorgeous adult Goldens. Each one was sweet and friendly. While there were 3 adorable puppies available, I used extreme restraint to only select the little boy we had come to see. Timber has exceeded our expectations. He's a very handsome boy who is already over 32 lbs at 4 months He has a wonderful personality, is curious about everything and learns very quickly. He is very social and loves every person and dog he meets, including the vet! He brings us much joy and we look forward to many wonderful years with this amazing boy. Thank you Jodi!
