Meet the breeder

I'm Karen Marie D., the breeder behind Meadowview Havanese located in Southwick, MA. I produce pups that will continue to excel in their chosen field, whether that be working, showing, or as an active companion. My dogs work hard, play hard, love hard, and are part of the family. I prepare all of my pups to excel in life. This amazing breed is what my life revolves around and I'm honored to share them with the rest of the dog community!

Q. & A. with Karen Marie

  • Why did you start breeding?

It is important to me that I not only continue my own phenomenal bloodlines, but that I am improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come! It's an amazing feeling knowing that I made a positive contribution to these dogs and the families who love them!
  • What makes your program special?

I am a proud AKC Breeder of Merit and am so excited to share my love of them with the world. My heavy involvement in the show world speaks to the standards that I breed my dogs by. I will always stand behind my puppies. It would be my pleasure to introduce your family to your next family companion!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white, red, silver, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
