I'm Kasey S., the breeder behind Meeker's Ridge Standard Poodles located in Big Rapids, MI. We are a small in-home program that takes great care planning each litter to ensure we are producing puppies that are exemplary representations of the breed. Our dogs are proven in conformation, fully health tested through DNA and OFA exams. They also have various sport titles.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I got my first poodle in 2016 and fell in love with the breed. The breeder I got him from became my mentor and I got my first poodle to show in 2018.
  • What makes your program special?

    I focus on conformation, temperament, and health to better the breed. I want the future puppies I produce to be better then what is out there today.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, blue, silver, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kasey

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppies come with a 2 year health guarantee and a large take home puppy pack. They have 2 sets of vaccines, dewormed every two weeks, Microchiped, and groomed several times before leaving. I will accept a $500 deposit at 2 weeks of age to be subtracted from final purchase price. Deposit is non-refundable unless something happens to puppy.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Urinalysis (UA), Brucellosis, Standard Veterinary Blood Panel, Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
