Meet the breeder

I'm Amanda H., the breeder behind Meraki Corgis located in Hardy, VA. At Meraki Corgis, my main focus is to produce puppies with great health, temperament and conformation. Parents are screened for all breed related genetic conditions as well as OFA screening on their eyes and hips. Parents come from show lines and are AKC pointed and actively showing. My puppies are raised in home with daily handling, sound desensitization, weekly nail trims, potty training and so much more. Puppies are placed around 10 weeks old and will be paired in homes that best suite your lifestyle and the puppies temperament.

Q. & A. with Amanda

  • Why did you start breeding?

Breeding is not something I take lightly. I did lots of research and talked to lots of mentors before deciding to breed. My dogs are genetically health teated for breed related conditions and they have their OFA screenings for eyes ans hips, as required by the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America. My dogs are very well socialized and friendly with all people and other dogs/animals.
  • What makes your program special?

My program revolves around producing healthy and structurally correct Pembroke Welsh Corgis. My program is small, focusing on 1 or 2 females at a time. At this time I only have one female and she is actively showing in AKC conformation.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and tan and white and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
