Meet the breeder

I'm Annette, the breeder behind MI Doodles located in Marne, MI. We’re dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding practices and do our best to make sure our pups get excellent care. Puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation, socialization, daily outdoor play time, and started on training at a young age. We want to be the best choice for your next puppy.

Q. & A. with Annette

  • Why did you start breeding?

I grew up raising various farm animals and my love for puppies began at a young age. When our boys were little we knew we wanted a dog and the love for our first Goldendoodle seemed to naturally develop into us starting to breed.
  • What makes your program special?

We price puppies so they will find their furever families quickly. We want you to get an amazing puppy at an affordable price. We strongly believe puppies will do better if they go to their furever home early on and receive one-on-one attention, care, and training rather than be overpriced, waiting months for their new family.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Bernedoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Bernese Mountain Dog puppies are black rust and white. Bernedoodle puppies are tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Annette was amazing to work with! She is so kind, caring, and very responsive. She was also really flexible when we wanted to interact with our sweet Koda. You can truly see her kindness in Koda’s temperament—he’s such an amazing little pup! The whole process was so easy, and Annette answered all of our questions along the way. If you’re looking for a sweet dog from a wonderful breeder, you’ve found the right place!

Annette was an amazing breeder to work with. She answered all of our questions, sent us updates with photos after we picked out a puppy. She was very flexible and easy to communicate with. Since we were receiving photos and updates, We felt like we were part of our young puppies’s life, even though she was still with Annette. Our new puppy came home knowing how to sit and go potty outside! She had excellent training while with Annette. I would highly recommend one of her puppies. Our Dog is very well mannered and socialized at eight weeks old! Overall, our experience with Annette was wonderful. She truly loves the dogs and it shows! Thanks again!

Annette was great all the way through our puppy process. Very good with communication! Very easy to work with and helpful. Our sweet Bernie slept through the night day one. Bonus: he already knew how to use a doggy door and that made potty training so much easier.

Annette was great to work with! We got Winnie at 8 weeks, clean bill of health after vet check and full of energy and love. We were expecting a ton of “puppy accidents” in the first few days but she only goes to the bathroom outside. When we first inquired she responded right away reviewed our application and we were able to choose our puppy. Very good experience.

Annette was great. Amazing communications. My puppy was sick the night before I was supposed to pick him up. She stayed up until way late in the night with him to monitor and kept me very updated. She was extremely nice and made sure to send us home with a bag of everything we needed for him. Whenever I decided to get another Bernese I will 100% be going to her again.
