Q. & A. with Shelly
Why did you start breeding?
I got into the breeding because of my love for the breed and my desire to improve it. It started with my first dog. I fell in love with their personality, temperament and structure. Overtime, I did a lot of research, connected with experienced breeders, and learned the importance of health testing, responsible pairing, and early socialization. My goal was never just to have litters, but to raise healthy, well rounded dogs that make excellent companions.
What makes your program special?
My program is special because I focus on quality over quantity always prioritizing the health, temperament, and structure of my dogs. I raise all my dogs and puppies in a loving hands-on environment where they’re well socialized and exposed to everyday life from an early age. I emphasize responsible breeding practices, including health testing, genetic screening and matching the right pairing to improve the breed. Whether a dog is going to a show home or a family home, I’m committed to producing dogs that are well adjusted, healthy, and true to the breed standard.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
