I'm McKenna M., the breeder behind Mid Valley Corgis located in Arroyo Grande, CA. I do research and pick stud dogs who have great temperaments and even better genetics. I raise my dogs in a loving and loud environment and introduce them to all kinds of stimulation. I make sure that the puppies in my care are healthy at all times, so I know they will be here for a long time.
Q. & A. with McKenna
Why did you start breeding?
I first got into breeding with the help of my veterinarian. I wanted to bring new lives into the world and ensure that they would be healthy, and go on to live happy lives with their new families. I wanted to prioritize good genetics and even better temperaments.
What makes your program special?
I make sure that the puppies in my litters receive proper socialization and stimulation. I am hands on with them from day one and I make sure that they are introduced to the others dogs in my home as well as being around my cat.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, black and tan, and white and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
