I'm Amy S., the breeder behind Midwest Scotties located in Olathe, KS. When we got our first Scottish Terrier, we were instantly in LOVE! Since then, we’ve made it our mission to bring happy, healthy puppies into the lives of other families! Both our scotties live in our home and get lots of love and attention. They are part of our family. They have both been raised around children as well. We do lots of socializing for our puppies so they make great family members. PLEASE NOTE* OUR PUPPIES ARE FOR PETS ONLY. Limited Registration. We are hobby breeders and have only a few litters. ❤️We believe anyone that has a dream of owning a scottie should be able to make that dream come true. ❤️🐾We don't charge as much as some breeders for that reason. Puppies are ready to go home at 8 weeks. We only breed Scottish Terriers. If you have any other questions please ask.

Why did you start breeding?
I had my first Scottie I got from someone giving him away on Facebook. It was a lady's mothers dog and she had passed away and no one wanted the dog. I adopted him and fell in love with him and the breed. When he passed I knew I wanted another Scottie but could not find any and any in my price range. I finally found someone fairly close so I saved up to finally get another Scottie. This is why I got into breeding them. They were hard to find and even my vet said he rarely sees any anymore and most breeders were out of my price range. I don't charge as much because I believe everyone should be able to afford a scottie if they love the breed like I do.What makes your program special?
Welcome to Midwest Scotties! Each family that has a reserved puppy will receive weekly updates. This will include photos & videos of your darling scottie baby. We will give details and fun quirks about their personality. As well as fun pictures and videos of your puppy we will capture them interacting with their siblings & Mama over the next weeks as they grow. Have a name picked out for your puppy? Please let us know! We will start calling your pup by name. Each Scottie baby will go home with a starter bag of food. Also, each pup will go home with a precious keepsake with mama and siblings scent.❤🐾 Health guarantee for one year and registration papers.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Litter update on 31 Jan 2025 •Everyone had a good checkup today at the veterinarians and got their 6 week shots. Everyone weighs over 4lbs doing great!

Amy was great! She is very responsive to all messages and questions, and kept us informed on how Maverick was growing and sending us photos every week. Maverick is settled in at home now with his big brother Myth (a black lab), and our three babies. He is brave and adventurous and very playful. He has been an exciting addition to our family and we are very grateful to have him!
