I'm Heather D., the breeder behind Midwest Springers located in Mahomet, IL. We are a small in-home breeder who loves our dogs and the breed. When schedules allow, we have an open-door policy for people to come and meet our dogs. We feel it is important to provide well socialized puppies to our new families. And the puppies love the visitors so much!

Why did you start breeding?
My childhood best friend and her family were ESS breeders who introduced me to the breed. I fell in love with the beauty and temperament of the breed. Throughout the years I have been able to cultivate relationships with several amazing breeders throughout the country who have helped educate and guide me in becoming the most responsible breeder possible.What makes your program special?
We enjoy cultivating relationships with our buyers starting even before the puppies go to their new homes. We love to stay in touch, get updates, and posting them for all to see. We have an open-door policy for prospective buyers to come and meet our dogs. Additionally, we can provide references from past buyers and supply veterinarian information when requested.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Heather
Heather has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $600 refundable deposit and $600 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“We do not accept deposits until after the puppies have been born and health checked by our veterinarian however we do have a waiting list if you are interested in being included. $600 deposit to hold puppy once one is available for you. Deposit will be applied to the price of puppy.”
Contract & health guarantee
Heather may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
