Getting a puppy from Katie

Puppy prices include a $350 non-refundable deposit and between $1,650 - $2,650 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Our puppies come with all their age appropriate vaccines and de-worming. They will have their microchip and be seen by our vet before going to their new forever homes. They will go home with puppy bags; AKC registration, 2 year genetic health guarantee, puppy records, food, toys, treats, blankets and other goodies. Our deposits are non refundable. The depsot goes towards the full price for your puppy."

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

    Katie was incredibly patient and knowledgeable with helping to pair us with the puppy that would work best with what we were looking for in a dog. We are a family who has lots of experience with Danes but I can say this is the best experience we’ve ever had bringing a puppy home. You can tell Katie and her family truly care about these dogs and the homes they move to. The part I love the most is the family Facebook page so we can see what the litter mates are up to, but also to see how previous litters have fared. It’s truly the best situation we’ve found for welcoming a new member of our family because it allows us to join a bigger family.

    Thank you, Katie and the “team” at Miner’s Dynamic Great Danes! As per her prior reviews, Katie was responsive within hours regarding all of our inquiries about our new puppy Augie. So far, he is the best socialized puppy that we have had in thirty years, including our rescue golden and two hunting dogs from reputable breeders. Twenty years ago, we had a horrible experience with a “reputable” Great Dane breeder (show lines, etc.) who sold us a puppy with cardiomyopathy who had to be put down. Based on that experience, we postponed getting another Great Dane until NOW. After finding MDGD on Good Dog and an easy transaction (during which Katie checked OUR qualifications to have a giant breed puppy), we arrived at Katie’s home on “take home” day where Augie was surrounded by a loving human and canine (and feline!) family. Katie answered all our questions, including giving specific diet instructions, and providing a puppy kit with a litter-scented blanket that Augie still adores. We also got to meet Augie’s Mom who is BEAUTIFUL and sociable. It is obvious from Augie’s intelligence and (appropriately for a puppy) chill demeanor and friendliness with us, our neighbor’s dogs, and vet staff that Katie and her family put a lot of love and hours into his first eight weeks.     It was so great working with Katie of Miner's Dynamic Danes to find our puppy. She was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process and so knowledgeable about the breed. You can tell the amount of love these pups received, and our new boy George has been the greatest addition to our family. He is so well mannered, sweet, and smart. We looked forward to our weekly photo updates and live videos and enjoyed getting to watch him grow and learn from birth to 8 weeks. I highly recommend working with Katie to find your next Dane! We cannot thank her enough for everything she did to help prepare our pup for his new life with us.
