The big day you have been waiting for is almost here! I have to tell you that all these sweet puppies have absolutely marvelous temperaments and have done great with their Puppy Culture training.
SOCIALIZATION:
I want to say a word about socialization. PLEASE socialize your dog. Take the advice given in the Puppy Culture DVDs for socialization as well as enroll in a puppy class as soon as you are cleared to do so by your vet. Get together with friends/family/neighbors with immunized adult dogs right away and often. The first few weeks are VERY important for socialization. Here's a good article that explains why:
https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/training/puppy-socialization/
Here’s a great website (they have an app too!) where you can find restaurants, hotels, events, etc that are dog friendly. Search by zip code and get your dog out and about!!
http://www.bringfido.com/
GO HOME BAGS AND FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS:
Feeding your new puppy:
You will need to have food for your pup on hand when your puppy arrives, so if you haven’t ordered, now is a good time to do that. We feed the pups 3x a day. They are eating about 1/2 a cup of food at each meal. As your pup matures please increase their food intake appropriately. The bag of dog food has a guideline. Use that and always start on the low side and gradually increase. If you notice their poop start to get soft, cut back just a smidge for it to firm up.
Your puppy will be sent home with a goodie bag. You may want to bring someone with you when picking up your puppy as well as some towels and fresh water (if you have a long drive). They will go to the bathroom before leaving with you and I would recommend NOT stopping for a puppy potty break until you get home. In your bag will also be the vet records!
💧WATER INTAKE💧
How often should I give my puppy water?
Generally, young puppies need about one-half cup of water every two hours. You'll want to monitor your puppy to make sure they're not drinking too much. At this young of an age they can’t determine the difference between hunger and thirst. Which leads them to sometime drink an over abundance of water if they are allowed to. Not only will this affect their appetite and digestion but will also make house training impossible. I suggest that until they are completely house trained water should be given every 2-3 hours and no later than 2 hours before they are put to bed for the night.

Now we must talk about a subject
😵THE DREADED HOOKWORM 😵
I take every bit of action I possibly can to make sure they are sent home to you 💯 percent parasite free. However, hookworms and coccidia are breeders two worst nightmares. A lot of the time when we bring them in for their checkup and vaccinations at 6 weeks we have dewormed them 1 week prior. That means when they do the fecal worm test it shows that they are parasite free. The problem is that the life cycle of the hookworm is 2 weeks. So although we get a clear test it sometimes happens that eggs hatch from the time they have had their vet visit and the time they go home. Make sure to check with your vet at the 10 week check up and vaccination appt that they are clear.
Last but not least for this week probiotic supplements!
I can not stress enough how important these are. Everyone please order these before your baby comes home!

Sarah always kept me updated and send me lots of pictures before my pickup time. She was even so nice as to let me pick up my dog a few weeks past his scheduled date due to some prior obligations I had. I am from out of state and had to make a bit of a drive to meet her, but she helped me plan the best meeting location along my route to ensure she wouldn’t make me drive more than I needed too. I have had my dog for a few months now and could not be happier with him. He is so healthy, full of energy, and always so playful. I could not have asked for a better dog.

I did a lot of research while looking for a reputable breeder, and I was able to find Sarah’s page. She responded quickly and sent pictures or videos every week so I could see how fast Lady was growing. Any questions I had were answered as quickly as possible and I appreciated how much contact I had not only with her but also my new pup! Sarah was wonderful!

This was my very first time looking for a puppy on my own. In the past, my parents were always the ones who found and trained our family dogs, so this experience was completely new to me. I was hesitant about buying online because it can be hard to know what information is reliable these days.
After searching everywhere, I came across a website called Good Dog. It was really user-friendly, so I spent about a week browsing before I found Poppy. Her breeder’s name was Sarah. I reached out to her with a few questions about the puppies—the breed, type, and general care—and she was very informative and kind. What stood out most was that she never pressured me into making a decision.
I couldn’t stop looking at Poppy’s photos for days. Eventually, I decided to make the deposit, and Sarah congratulated me right away. From that moment on, she kept me updated every day with pictures—bath time, playtime, and the cutest little moments. Those updates made me even more excited, to the point where I could hardly sleep some nights just thinking about bringing Poppy home.
When the day finally came to pick her up, we were greeted by a lovely young girl who welcomed us in to meet Sarah. Sarah handed Poppy to us, and I almost cried—I was so happy. Poppy was calm, affectionate, and clearly well-loved. It was obvious she had been raised in a caring, nurturing environment. Sarah also sent us home with a thoughtful goodie bag that included Poppy’s vet records, a toy, a blanket, dog food, and her business card in case we ever needed anything.
For my first experience as a new puppy owner, I couldn’t have asked for a better breeder. Sarah made everything easy, comforting, and joyful from start to finish. I’m so grateful that Poppy came from such a loving start, and I would absolutely recommend Sarah to anyone looking for their new best friend.

Sarah was very knowledgeable and helpful. She sent us many pictures of Peanut (Lily) before we brought her home and always sent updates. Our puppy is settling in with her new home. She's a sweetheart.

Had a great experience with Sarah. I was really worried about scammers but Sarah took all precautions to make sure everything was legitimate. Our little Milo is the sweetest and is adjusting so well to his new home. You can tell Sarah and her family care about their pups.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience! From the very beginning, the level of care, communication, and professionalism we received was exceptional. The general updates and adorable photos throughout the process made us feel so connected and reassured — it truly showed how much love and attention goes into every puppy.
Thank you for making this such a smooth and joyful journey. We are absolutely in love with “Shadow”, and we’re so grateful for the quality service and dedication you provided every step of the way. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a breeder who genuinely cares!
