Meet the breeder

I'm Patricia H., the breeder behind MizzElle’s Standard Poodles located in Greenwich, NY. All puppies have their tails docked, dewclaws removed, dewormed, vet checked and AKC registered, along with a 2-year written health guarantee. My adult standards are genetically tested prior to mating and are certified with CHIC number as required by AKC. Dogs under 2 yrs have preliminary testing.

Q. & A. with Patricia

  • Why did you start breeding?

As a stay at home mom of 4, I wanted a side job which the kids could be involved. I started with Toys and Minis but quickly fell in love with the Standard Poodle. I read constantly re: breed and networked with other breeders. I have now been breeding for 20 years!
  • What makes your program special?

We do all of our health testing, provide show and in-home (no kennel). We do a lot of TLC and breed with temperament in mind as well as outstanding pedigrees!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include apricot, black, brown, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
