I'm Amb L., the breeder behind Moon Doggie Frenchie located in Temecula, CA. We are a small family-owned hobby breeding program. Our Frenchies are first and foremost part of our family. They are raised with love as family members along side our young children. Our dogs are genetically DNA tested through UC Davis before being bred. Instagram is @moondoggiefrenchies.

Why did you start breeding?
As a child I grew up with my family breeding Mastiffs. When I became an adult I feel in love with the French Bulldog breed and the rest is history :-) I love seeing happy families fall in the love with the breed as well.What makes your program special?

"Prices range from $3500-$5000. Prices are based on gender and color. Deposit is refundable only if puppy has a medical issue that is discovered before final payment."

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Spine (OFA, FCI)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
