I'm Dayna P., the breeder behind Moonlight Howl Huskies located in Florence, KY. As a mental health counselor, my primary goal is to provide you a family member with an excellent temperament and demeanor. Many have placed as ESA, service, & therapy dogs! I raise them all entirely indoors & they also participate in my counseling practice! My current litters are all AKC registered.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My first two Huskies received so many compliments on their presentation and temperament. Their trainer was amazed at how responsive and attentive they were during training. That’s why I chose to let them bring their love to other families through their pups!

  • What makes your program special?

    My dogs are all inside with me or active with me. Their puppies are born inside with us and stay inside the whole entire time until they go home with their new family. I use Puppy Culture techniques throughout their time with me in order to give them a solid foundation of socialization and training.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include agouti and white, red and white, brown and white, gray and white, black and white, white, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Dayna

Dayna has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"The price listed includes pet AKC/CKC registration papers, microchip, deworming treatments, first shots, & a full vet exam. Each puppy comes home with a goody bag to help with their adjustment home! Once final payments are made, they are non-refundable. Once deposit is placed, your puppy is reserved for you. For this reason, it is not refundable. This ensures that each puppy has a family ready for them when it is time for them to leave my home."

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Canine Good Citizen (CGC)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Animal Genetics Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Dayna with Moonlight Howl Huskies was very responsive and professional keeping me informed and updated every step of the way. She was kind and respectful to me from start to finish. She sent me videos of Amor and her siblings/mom/dad keeping me feeling confident and reassured. She was thorough throughout the process and cares deeply about finding beautiful homes for her grand fur babies. I could tell that her whole heart and soul was invested into her Husky’s and also into the breeding / placement process. Dayna helped me with airline information, finding a proper portable crate for boarding and even allowed me to visit Amor and her parents Beryl & Ruby. I’m so happy with Amor and love her dearly. She’s very sweet, loving and playful. Dayna got her vaccinated up to 2 months before pickup and microchipped which I really appreciated. She got Amor a blanky (w/ mother Ruby’s scent), some toys and a harness/leash. She put a good amount of her puppy food in a baggy to bring home and had all up to date paperwork ready to go including AKC registration. Based on my experience, Dayna with Moonlight Howl Huskies is as good as it gets. I can only speak highly of her and highly recommend her as an honest, reputable breeder.     First I just want to highlight how professional & thorough my experience was with Moonlight Howl Huskies! All of my questions were answered in great detail. After talking to many breeders I was amazed that they were not willing to video chat or send breeding information prior to deposit or traveling to receive the dog. That was NOT my experience with Moonlight Howl Huskies. Instead I was greeted with a Video chat to see “My Charm.” Instantly, he stole my ❤️. Next, all requested supporting documentation was sent instantly. This made me feel safe and secure about my decision. The very NEXT day I drove 10 hrs to get my pup! Best Decision EVER🙌🏾 During the meet up I was not only able to meet “My Charm” but also his parents who were so sweet and well behaved. I must say I was very impressed that I was greeted with a complimentary “Doggy Bag” which included toys, a harness, collar, food, treats and a measuring scooper for food. Also, I received a personalized folder with all of Charm’s information such as vet records, microchip info and great info about bringing a new puppy home. I was AMAZED! I was even more AMAZED that he was potty trained. YES! YES! You READ that correctly! This is week 3 now since I’ve brought “My Charm” home and he has such a GREAT personality! Hes such a smart boy! He already is responding favorably to commands and the vet says he’s “PERFECT.” Not only is he PERFECT but the timing for him coming into my life has been PERFECT! Everyone thought I was Crazy to take the drive for what they said “It’s just a dog.” “My Charm” will NEVER be “Just a dog.” Funny thing is now EVERYONE is captivated by his personality and the love he brings.
