I'm Gregg M., the breeder behind Moore Beagles located in Union, KY. Moore Beagles was created to produce champion Beagles that do it all! Beagles are our passion & they are the only breed we have. Our Beagles do it all - field-show-competitions, companions in the home or in the field and everything in between. We have several puppies that have gone on to become are therapy dogs. We are passionate about our dogs!
Q. & A. with Gregg
Why did you start breeding?
I wanted to produce better-looking field companions because I didn’t like the looks of most of the field dogs I was seeing. As a young boy, I watched Secretariat, a beautiful chestnut thoroughbred stud dominate the Triple Crown in 1973. We always loved Beagles and wondered and dreamed of producing the Beagle version of Secretariat! My brother Paul and I have had the dream of producing better Beagles for over 20 years!
What makes your program special?
We have been blessed with exceptional top-shelf bloodlines. Through trial, error, and evaluation we have kept the best of the best and as a result, we can produce exceptional Beagles that will exceed people's expectations.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include 13-inch and 15-inch sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include lemon and white and black tan and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
