I'm Maggie M., the breeder behind Moore's Poodles & Doodles located in Whatley, AL. Having a dog in our lives is such a blessing. We find so much fulfillment in providing that same companionship to other homes! We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. It’s our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes!
Q. & A. with Maggie
Why did you start breeding?
I started my program three years ago when coming home full time during my first pregnancy. I shadowed my mom for many years as she’s bred for over 15 years. She was small in home with no social media. While shadowing her we both learned more and more starting with health testing, curriculum, and temperament.
What makes your program special?
We treat ours with only the best, meaning if they wasn’t bred they’d get the same line of care. All of ours are in home kept with freedom to their fence with dog doors to come and go as they please. Every litter is planned to provide the best pet possible. We take passion in the health of our puppies during their short stay with us.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Bernedoodle puppies include tiny and mini sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Bernedoodle puppies include brown and white, brown, black, black and white, tri-color, phantom, blue merle, and merle. Yorkipoo puppies include merle, silver, blue and tan, black and tan, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Went very well. Even though I was running extremely late! Maggie Moore worked with me and even drove more than halfway to meet me with my baby Opie. Everything ran smoothly and my baby is thriving. Thank you Maggie!
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
