Why did you start breeding?
I’ve owned Golden Retriever’s since I was 10 years old. They are my passion, I enjoy improving my lines. The biggest joy I get is seeing my puppies become hunting dogs, working dogs, and Service Dogs.What makes your program special?
Health is our top priority, but we also focus primarily on temperament and ease of training for the puppy’s new owner. We want the classic “golden personality” who is a smart, easy to train, well rounded family dog. We also have a professional trainer on board who helps us with early puppy training and socialization.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include dark golden and golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Tommy & Renda
Tommy & Renda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,400 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes first round of vaccines, dewormer at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks. The deposit comes out of the total price of your puppy. The deposit can be paid via Good Dog. Balance due at pick up, via Good Dog.”
Contract & health guarantee
Tommy & Renda may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

+6Tommy and Renda were amazing! Every message was met with a knowledgable and positive reply. They sent an update every time that we asked (and as first time puppy owners we were a little on the needier side) and they were always so responsive and sweet! Pick up was a breeze, it was a 14 hour round trip and they met us an hour early so we could get back on the road which we were extremely grateful for. Our vet accepted the shots and his first doggy vet visit was a breeze with their records given. I would fully recommend them to anyone seeking a Golden! We love our Bear!

Tommy & Renda were awesome! They gave us weekly updates which were much appreciated, went over & beyond with the many questions I asked, and were very kind. We drove 12 hours round trip to get our sweet baby & it was so worth it. Only comment I have is to make sure your vet accepts vaccinations done by the breeder, not by a vet (the 1st one we went to wouldn’t accept her vaccinations, but we went to a different one and they did). Our girl is healthy & happy!

Our experience was as stress free as one could ask for! Very responsive and informative to our inquiries early on and throughout our experience. We felt immediately at ease discussing the possibility of bringing a new family member in. Tommy and Renda worked with us on our pick up date and being in the North Georgia area they were incredibly kind to meet us for pick up location a little closer to home. Both were signs early on we chose correctly to pursue our pup with them. Most importantly of all though we're so thankful for the opportunity to connect with Morgan's Heart of Gold because it has given us the gift of seeing our son with his first dog. Our pup has all the qualities you hope for when bringing a new family member home and we are very excited for the coming years of memories to make.
