Q. & A. with Darcy
Why did you start breeding?
Over 22 years ago, my love for Poodles turned into a desire to raise the breed. I have a strong desire to better the line of this breed and ensure my litters are as genetically sounds as possible. My background as a Registered Nurse has proven invaluable in maintaing a healthy caring breeding program.
What makes your program special?
My clinical knowledge shapes my breeding program as I strive to preserve the Poodle standard and minimize inheritable health issues. I handle my Poodles in conformation events and train them in performance sports to showcase their abilities. My expertise has been enriched through guidance from mentors and participation in Poodle Club of America events.
