Meet the breeder

I'm Camille T., the breeder behind Mount Zion Kennels located in Eugene, OR. My goal in breeding is to preserve and improve, by breeding for excellent health, correct conformation, great temperaments, and versatility. I want my dogs to excel not only in the show ring, but also in other sports, as therapy dogs, service dogs, and in the field!

Q. & A. with Camille

  • Why did you start breeding?

I’ve always had a passion for dogs, and originally wanted to go to veterinary school, but I realized that there are many other ways I can pursue my love for dogs. That’s when I decided to breed standard poodles, and learn how to become a professional dog groomer.
  • What makes your program special?

My main goal in breeding is to preserve & improve this historic breed and it's multicolored lines. I will be focusing on improving conformation, health, and versatility. I want my dogs to excel not only in the show ring, but also in performance and companion sports, as well as in the field.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include moyen and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include apricot, black, blue, brown, cafe au lait, cream, silver, silver-beige, white, parti, phantom, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Camille

Camille has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Camille partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

"1. Breeder’s Pick 2. Show & Service Prospects (based on structure & temperament) 3. Companion Homes At around 8 weeks of age, we will begin the selection process. We will provide you with each puppies temperament evaluation conducted by a professional trainer and a description/breakdown of their personalities and temperament evaluation results. That insight, paired with our observations and your lifestyle needs, helps us match each puppy thoughtfully and intentionally together."

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

"Puppies will come with AKC limited registration, vaccinations, deworming, puppy starter pack, sale contract with a health guarantee, and a lifetime breeder support. Deposit/Holding fee will ensure spot on waitlist for a specific litter. Remaining balance will be due by the time puppies are ready to go home at 9 of age."

Contract & health guarantee

Camille may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Camille offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Camille directly.

Long story short I love Camille lol she puts her heart and soul into her program and it reflects in her pups. My boy Jellybean is the sweetest, goofiest, smart and loving little guy I have ever met and he is such a good representation of the breed. When we go in the public we always get compliments on how well mannered he is and his calm demeanor then I proceed to brag on how great his breeder is. Camille is the easiest person to talk to, super responsive and she knows what she is doing so I would get another puppy from her again in a heartbeat. 💓

This entire process was nothing short of seamless. Communication was clear and throughly articulated especially when I brought questions up to Camille. It has been 3 weeks with our new standard poodle and we would highly recommend Mount Zion Kennels to families who are looking to add a perfect companion to their lives
