I'm Patricia I., the breeder behind Mountainside Doodles, LLC located in Fairmont, WV. We’re a small, home-based program raising healthy, well-socialized puppies with love and care. Our dogs live in our home, not kennels. Each litter is thoughtfully planned, and puppies are raised with early enrichment and vet care to thrive in family life.

Why did you start breeding?
After my kids became young adults, I found myself needing something to fill that empty space at home. My Golden Retriever brought me so much joy, so I decided to breed her—just once. From that first litter, I was completely hooked. Raising puppies filled that void with love, purpose, and a passion I didn’t know I was missing.What makes your program special?
I’m home full time, so each puppy gets daily hands-on care and socialization. They’re raised in our living room, started on ENS, exposed to new scents and sounds, and begin potty training early. In their final weeks, they enjoy supervised time exploring the house. All puppies receive proper vet care and lots of love.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Bernedoodle puppies include tiny and mini sizes. Goldendoodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Bernedoodle puppies include brown and white, brown, phantom, and blue merle. Goldendoodle puppies include phantom, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Program update on 06 Aug 2025 •…The puppies have become very active and playful! They absolutely love spending time outside, and their favorite thing right now is the trampoline—it’s their go-to playground! It's been so fun watching them bounce around and chase each other in the sunshine.

Litter update on 24 July 2025 •…Over the past few weeks, Luna and Elon’s puppies have been settling into the world at their own relaxed pace. While they’re starting to explore more each day, this bunch prefers to take things slow. They’re content to nap, snuggle, and quietly observe what’s going on around them. Their personalities are beginning to show, and so far, this litter leans toward being calm, cuddly, and easygoing. They soak up attention and affection but aren’t in any rush—true little sweethearts in the making.

Litter update on 24 July 2025 •…Over the past four weeks, Colt and Zo’s litter has really come to life! What started as a group of sleepy little snugglers has turned into a pack of curious, playful explorers. They’ve gone from spending their days eating and napping to roaming around, investigating every nook and cranny, and charming everyone who comes near. They’re growing fast and absolutely soaking up all the attention!

About Zo
Meet Zola Zola is the definition of a loyal companion—always close by and always watching. She’s a world-class cuddler with a bossy streak, making sure everything (and everyone) is running on her schedule. Especially when it comes to treat time. If you forget, don’t worry—Zola won’t. She’s got a built-in snack alarm and she’s not shy about using it. Fiercely loving, a little sassy, and full of personality, Zola is more than a good dog—she’s the best kind of shadow and the heart of the home.

About Luna
Meet Luna – Our Spirited Explorer and Loving Momma Luna is our F1b Mini Goldendoodle, and she’s every bit the charmer. She lives with us full time and keeps life interesting — if there’s a way out of the fence, Luna will be the one to find it! She’s fearless, endlessly curious, and always ready to explore new territory. She also loves to take the lead when new dogs come through the door, proudly showing them the ropes and making sure they feel right at home. Despite her adventurous streak, Luna is incredibly affectionate and always up for a good cuddle. Watching her step into her role as a mother has been something special — her instincts are strong, and she’s both gentle and attentive with her pups. Luna is the perfect mix of confident and kind, and she passes that steady, well-rounded temperament on to her puppies.
