Meet the breeder

I'm Regina V., the breeder behind Murphree Valley Kennels located in Oneonta, AL. We are committed to always responsibly breeding with the best interest of our puppies’ health and longevity at the forefront. Our puppies become integral members of our family. They’re a daily part of everything we do until they’re ready to join their forever families.

Q. & A. with Regina

  • Why did you start breeding?

We bought our first girl Marlee 6 years ago. We fell in love with the breed. We then bought a sister for her, Ellie Mae. After being around them and seeing their loyalty and the love they brought to our family we decided to start breeding. I love the fact they didn’t shed and they were so smart.
  • What makes your program special?

I spend time each day with all my dogs. I keep their health as my top priority. I stand behind the health and well being of all my animals. I strive to produce the best puppies that are socialized, healthy, and happy. I aim to please each person that chooses to purchase from me.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white, parti, liver, salt and pepper, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Working with Regina V. was wonderful. She was very responsive to all questions and provided update photos while we waited for our puppy to be ready to come home with us. Our daughter received her new puppy two weeks before ours was ready to come home and Regina met us halfway both times. We've had our little girl, Coco, now for a month and while she has re-educated us on what a new puppy is like, she has been very eager to learn. She was the smallest in her litter, but she is catching up in size quickly with her half-sister, Mirabel and she can definitely hold her own with her spunkiness!

It's been a great first two weeks with Harry. He had a good vet visit and now weighs 4.2 pounds at nine weeks old. He is a very smart dog so potty training has been easy. This is a well bred dog and our experience with Regina was great. She kept us updated regularly and send us home with good information and supplies. Harry is a sweet, loving companion to us both and loves everyone he meets.

Regina made getting our sweet girl so easy! She was super responsive, sent photo updates of her and was able to answer any questions I had. We have had our girl for a week now and by day 3 she already knew exactly where her potty pads were and everything ! Being in a new environment I thought that would’ve been harder for her. Our girl has fit in perfectly with my two kiddos as well as our cat and has been a lot easier adjusting to her new life than I expected. She is SUPER playful but absolutely gets her sleep in. We are so beyond thankful for Regina and her help in getting the perfect little pup for us ! I highly recommend . ❤️

Regina was wonderful to work with. I had many questions and they were all answered. Our girl came home and acclimated to our home with grandkids and big brother( dog). The puppy is well on her way to being potty trained. Beautiful dog with great personality. Would not hesitate to purchase babies again

Regina is absolutely amazing when it comes to her breeding services. She provided all paperwork and vaccination records upfront — truly everything you could ask for. I received regular updates with photos and information as the litter grew, which meant so much to me. I’m beyond grateful that I found her!
