Meet the breeder

I'm Regina V., the breeder behind Murphree Valley Kennels located in Oneonta, AL. We are committed to always responsibly breeding with the best interest of our puppies’ health and longevity at the forefront. Our puppies become integral members of our family. They’re a daily part of everything we do until they’re ready to join their forever families.

Q. & A. with Regina

  • Why did you start breeding?

We bought our first girl Marlee 6 years ago. We fell in love with the breed. We then bought a sister for her, Ellie Mae. After being around them and seeing their loyalty and the love they brought to our family we decided to start breeding. I love the fact they didn’t shed and they were so smart.
  • What makes your program special?

I spend time each day with all my dogs. I keep their health as my top priority. I stand behind the health and well being of all my animals. I strive to produce the best puppies that are socialized, healthy, and happy. I aim to please each person that chooses to purchase from me.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white, parti, liver, salt and pepper, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

It was a pleasure working with Regina of Murphree Valley Kennels, to find our Schnauzer puppy. The process of selecting, purchase and delivery of our puppy was very easy. Regina raises fine quality Schnauzers, and we are very happy with our puppy.

I got Ryder Friday 8// 2026 he was a little shy, but he snuggled up to me. Regina was so nice and gave me goody bag and his paper work. She also came closer to where I live to hand me the puppy. She is awesome!! 🥰

We were highly impressed with our experience with Regina and Good Dog! We would have never been able to find our little Scooter(white miniature schnauzer) Regina was super easy to deal with and very accessible with information or questions we had. Regina is very knowledgeable of the Miniature Schnauzer breed and has a very nice kennel on her property. We were extremely satisfied with our experience with Regina and her professional / southern hospitality! Five Stars in our book!

Regina was excellent at communicating with us, from the start of the process to even after we got home with followup. She was able to meet us at our location choice with no problem, and she was so nice and provided us a welcome home gift for Beans. Our newest pup, Beans, is such a joy to our family, and we love how she has just meshed in with our other pups. You can tell she was handled regularly and is not afraid of anything. She has such a good temperament, and is learning so quickly. Regina is an excellent breeder, and if given the opportunity, we would definitely purchase from her again.

Regina was so wonderful throughout the entire process of adopting and bringing our Ella home! She was so friendly, helpful, patient with all of my questions, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her puppies and the homes they go to. Ella has been such a sweet, smart, funny little puppy, and she's already become a huge part of our family. I'm very thankful to Regina for trusting us with her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a Schnauzer puppy!
