I'm Amber M., the breeder behind Murphy Manor Mountain Doodles located in Lansing, NC. Our dogs are bred with thier health and temperment in mind. Training and socialization are a high priority for each of our own family pets and we love helping to mould each pup during thier early stages to make them a better family pet and representative of the labradoodle breed.

Why did you start breeding?
We started our breeding journey years ago by studding our Standard Poodle in the creation of the Labradoodle line that we now breed. We have had years of experience in assisting breeders in this line and are familiar with several amazing generations. The magical love, loyalty, and intelligence of this breed has brought so much joy to our lives and we are so excited to now share that with others.What makes your program special?
Our focus is on health and moulding an excellent companion. Our pups are handled daily, ENS & ESI days 3 - 16, early potty training, socialization with people and other animals, plus lots of play and exercise. The dogs in our program recieve daily exercise and lots of mtn air on our large mountain property. They are raised as an integral part of our family and loved beyond measure.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, apricot, cream, chocolate, black, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Litter update on 11 Nov 2025 •We call his daddy the guardian because he's always been loyal and by our childrens' side. This morning I let Chewie out from his crate and out to potty. When he came back in he hopped up on the couch with my daughter and laid with her loyally for 2 hours until he came to me to go out again. He has his daddy's loyalty and devotion for sure!

Litter update on 08 Nov 2025 •More socialization, this time with Christmas fun at Lowes Hardware. Echo and Chewie were not phased with the music or movements. They both did great walking through the electronic doors without hesitation, almost like they expected them to open for them 😆.

Litter update on 31 Oct 2025 •I think I got the wrong size 🤣. For anyone with one of my pups from this litter, they are definitely not a size large in the reindeer costume at Dollar Tree 🤣😂.

Litter update on 27 Oct 2025 •Thanks to my daughter's obsession with Christmas and an urge to decorate extremely early, we are now training Echo and Chewie to leave the decorations alone. We may have worked with them a little too much. They won't sit close to the trees for pictures 😆🤦♀️. I got a side angle blurry shot. I don't leave them alone with the trees, but they barely glance at them now.

Litter update on 22 Oct 2025 •When you are socializing puppies and your vehicle springs a serious oil leak, you use the opportunity. Chewie had an amazing time at the Toyota / Subaru dealership. We were on the Toyota side, but news of a cute puppy travels fast! An employee from the Subaru side brought him 2 toys: a Subaru with a water bottle toy hidden inside! He did an amazing job and made a ton of new friends.

Litter update on 18 Oct 2025 •Bathed, blow dried, and napping through me using the shop vac. We expose them to everything we can think of to prepare them to be an excellent family pet.

About Loki
Our Prince of Asgard, Loki, is a wonderful example of why we fell in love with the Labradoodle breed. Unlike many breeds that tend to favor one person or owner, Loki is loyal and devoted to every single member of our family, including grandparents. He enjoys playing fetch, and the harder the ball is to find, the better! He is gentle with our children, other dogs, cats, and even our chickens. Loki is an F1 50/50 of Labrador and Poodle.

About Luna
Our Precious Princess Luna Love is everything you could dream of in a Labradoodle! She is obedient, affectionate, and extremely smart. She is an F1bb, and her DNA testing shows her to be 84% poodle, which has given her a thick, soft curly coat. Her blood line carries the blue coat color, although she has not faded to that color like her beautiful blue brother. Due to this bloodline, her darker offspring will have the possibility of fading (a very common poodle trait). Since she was a tiny puppy, she has always wanted to be in our laps and still does manage that with grace, even at her current weight and size. It is her constant devotion and affection that makes her an excellent mother to her sweet little loves. Luna calls the mountains her home and has plenty of acreage and fresh mountain air to exercise in daily. She is a very athletic and fit doodle. Because of her daily adventures through the brush and creeks, we normally keep her cut short in the summer and enjoy her fluffy long look in the winter months.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
