I'm Amber M., the breeder behind Murphy Manor Mountain Doodles located in Lansing, NC. Our dogs are bred with thier health and temperment in mind. Training and socialization are a high priority for each of our own family pets and we love helping to mould each pup during thier early stages to make them a better family pet and representative of the labradoodle breed.

Why did you start breeding?
We started our breeding journey years ago by studding our Standard Poodle in the creation of the Labradoodle line that we now breed. We have had years of experience in assisting breeders in this line and are familiar with several amazing generations. The magical love, loyalty, and intelligence of this breed has brought so much joy to our lives and we are so excited to now share that with others.What makes your program special?
Our focus is on health and moulding an excellent companion. Our pups are handled daily, ENS & ESI days 3 - 16, early potty training, socialization with people and other animals, plus lots of play and exercise. The dogs in our program recieve daily exercise and lots of mtn air on our large mountain property. They are raised as an integral part of our family and loved beyond measure.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, apricot, cream, chocolate, black, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Litter update on 03 July •…Today was a hot one and the perfect day to introduce them to water play! Michael enjoyed it the most and even splashed through the little splash trays outside the pool. I sprinkled few pieces of food in to encourage them to investigate. Most of them stayed briefly and then hopped out to run around and play. Michael kept returning to get back in. We will continue with water play on hot days.

Litter update on 02 July •…These puppies have so much confidence and courage. No hesitation at all in climbing right up the stairs! The big step at the end is still a little too high without a boost. And nothing beats sweat puppy cuddle pictures!

Program update on 02 July •We are having a puppy party outside while we rearrange thier area for practice sleeping in kennels.

Litter update on 01 July •…Puppy updates! We've been very busy on car rides, individual trips out without mom and siblings, introducing noises, visiting new places, and much more! Here are a few highlights: Yesterday we took Smooth Criminal and Billie Jean on a pack walk down to our neighbor's house. Smooth Criminal settled in and even took a nap while we were there, following suit with his Uncle Gryffin. I've started introducing the vacuum hose so they can acclimate to the pet vacuum brushes. They all got baths and blow drys yesterday. Captain was the calmest with bath and blow dry. He was staring to even fall asleep while I was blow drying him. Thriller loved his bath as well and even laid down in the bath tub for his royal treatment. They are all getting little adventures outside on grass and gravel as well. Rockin Robin and King are excellent car riders! And King has his first trip to Tractor Supply where he got to meet a little 2 year old girl who giggled and laughed while petting him. More updates coming! We will be on adventures all week!

Litter update on 25 June •…Nap Time after dinner. We've transitioned to pine pellets in thier potty trays which helps the transition to outside go smoother. We will sprinkle these pellets outside in the area we prefer them to go in.

Litter update on 16 June •…Yesterday the pups received thier 1st round of vaccines and 1st really long car ride. Great health report for all puppies! I'll post the winners for heavy weight champion and best in the car later today.

Litter update on 14 June •…We are on hard kibble now and all puppies are patiently and slowly crunching away! I always provide an abundance of food. No food aggression or gobbling here! Some may even prefer to dine laying down 😆.

Litter update on 10 June •…1st introduction to crates today. We placed each one into the crate individually with a toy and shut the door for a minute. Then, we placed the crate in their play area for investigation. Some liked to lay inside, some liked to chew on it, while others liked to play king of the castle and climb on top!

About Loki
Our Prince of Asgard, Loki, is a wonderful example of why we fell in love with the Labradoodle breed. Unlike many breeds that tend to favor one person or owner, Loki is loyal and devoted to every single member of our family, including grandparents. He enjoys playing fetch, and the harder the ball is to find, the better! He is gentle with our children, other dogs, cats, and even our chickens. Loki is an F1 50/50 of Labrador and Poodle.

About Luna
Our Precious Princess Luna Love is everything you could dream of in a Labradoodle! She is obedient, affectionate, and extremely smart. She is an F1bb, and her DNA testing shows her to be 84% poodle, which has given her a thick, soft curly coat. Her blood line carries the blue coat color, although she has not faded to that color like her beautiful blue brother. Due to this bloodline, her darker offspring will have the possibility of fading (a very common poodle trait). Since she was a tiny puppy, she has always wanted to be in our laps and still does manage that with grace, even at her current weight and size. It is her constant devotion and affection that makes her an excellent mother to her sweet little loves. Luna calls the mountains her home and has plenty of acreage and fresh mountain air to exercise in daily. She is a very athletic and fit doodle. Because of her daily adventures through the brush and creeks, we normally keep her cut short in the summer and enjoy her fluffy long look in the winter months.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
