I'm , the breeder behind Muzzeys French Bulldogs located in Georges Mills, NH. We focus on health and temperament first and foremost. Our goal is to produce a French Bulldog that is a well rounded family pet who will live a long and healthy life.

Why did you start breeding?
I had some experience showing my Mastiffs so I took my female French Bulldog into the ring. Unfortunately, she was not a fan of the show ring. Her pedigree was excellent as was her conformation and she passed all her required health tests for breeding so I bred her to my mentor's stud. She had 5 gorgeous puppies and a passion for breeding was born at the same time.What makes your program special?
My focus is on quality, not quantity. I rarely have puppies as I breed only once a year or less. I have a waiting list of people that I have to refer out to others or they would wait years for a puppy. In fact, I have had people actually wait years for the puppy they want. One couple waited 2 and a half years for a puppy.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brindle, cream, and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Parent health testing
Great level
Muzzeys French Bulldogs reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for French Bulldogs.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Spine (OFA, FCI), Tracheal Hypoplasia, Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Multifocal Retinopathy 1 (CMR1), Animal Genetics Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
