The spice babies braved the cold to go to our final vet checks! Everyone got a clean bill of health and also got plenty of cuddles! They also got their microchips put in. Now all they need is a bath 😅and they’re ready to go home ❤️

While I clean the pen the pups get free reign of the puppy room and they make sure they make the most of it 😂

We had an amazing puppy picking weekend! I’m so excited that all of these pups have found such great loving homes!

Introducing the crate is one of the things that we consider extremely important! The crate is an amazing tool when it comes to training a new puppy. It makes potty training so much easier because a puppy’s instincts are to not go to the bathroom in their “den”. It is also a great place for your puppy to feel safe when they are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or overstimulated. Plus it is amazing to have a space for puppy to be when you can’t supervise them. It keeps them and the things they would otherwise chew safe. I know crating your pup gets a lot of negative feedback these days, they say it’s a “cage”; but it is 100% the opposite. Crate training, done correctly, will provide your pup with a safe place and you peace of mind knowing your pup is safe and happy ❤️

The pups are professional splooters already 😂

The pups got a pen expansion this last week! We have started using pine pellets in their litter box which is a great starter for getting them used to going outside, as the pine gives off a very outdoor scent. They also get access to water all the time now and are eating big kid food 3-4 times a day😊

I am doing a Friday photo dump because it has been a while since I updated. We had an awful cold tear through our house this last week so I am behind in just about everything.😅 i’m hoping to get the pups four week pictures done at some point today🤞🏼. The pups are doing great. They are catching on to eating real food and are all play, run, eat and sleep right now😂. They are getting more and more curious, and we are doing great with our potty training! We all have several sharp little teeth now which means Daisy is saying she’s just about done with feeding them 😂

We are fast running out of room at the momma milk bar 😂. The babies now have several little teeth now. This is usually about when momma will start to feed them less and less, which means we are getting ready to start introducing puppy food!

Mikayla was a pleasure to work with! She always kept us updated and sent lots of videos and pictures. She was very responsive and upfront about the entire process. Mikayla was accommodating in letting us visit the puppy and when we were able to pick the puppy up. We would certainly be getting another puppy from Mikayla again in the future!

Mikayla was amazing! She introduced the puppies through lots of photos and videos. Then came the puppy pick day! We chose to make an in-person visit and it was a wonderful experience! My wife and I spent an hour with the puppies, then made our choice. We traveled home with so much joy in our hearts and with a ton of anticipation! Finally the day came for puppy pick up day! Mikayla once again exceeded our expectations as she had puppy bags filled with toys, blankets, and other items to help our new baby Jesse adjust to our home much easier. Out of 5 stars Mikayla is a 6!!!! She made the entire process from our first contact all the way to our day bringing Jesse home nothing less than amazing! If we decide to ever get a future brother or sister for Jesse, we will definitely contact Mikayla!

We had a great experience working with Mikayla! She kept us updated throughout the entire process and was always quick to communicate. Scottie is a happy, healthy pup who loves doing all the classic puppy things—playing, snuggling, and exploring. We’re so thankful to Mikayla and highly recommend her!

Mikayla is best of the best! This was our first time going through a breeder, and we cannot recommend Mikayla enough. She was kind, patient, and thoughtful while answering all of our questions. She provided many pictures and updates throughout the whole process, and made everything super slick. Her and her husband were incredible while picking out our puppy, and helping identify a perfect match for us and our lifestyle. If you’re at all unsure about which breeder to go with, I hope you take this as your sign! We will always recommend Mikayla and New Beginnings. We love our Winnie girl!🩷
