I'm Ina B., the breeder behind Nine Pines Poodles located in Cypress Inn, TN. My dream when I started Nine Pines Poodles was to breed the perfect companion, a dog that was unflappable and calm in any environment. My dogs are carefully selected for temperament, health, and intelligence, the good looks are just a bonus! We'd love to have you join the Nine Pines family!

Why did you start breeding?
I started out training working Australian shepherds for cattle work. The natural next step was raising my own. My program has evolved so much in 16 years, but I still carry the lessons from those first years with me.
What makes your program special?
The focus I put on a perfect temperament is one of the reasons people choose a Nine Pines puppy. Families frequently remark about how intelligent their new best friend is and how well he/she adapts to new situations. That all starts here, from the moment they're born we are working toward greatness.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are moyen size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot, black, brown, cafe au lait, cream, red, silver-beige, white, parti, phantom, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Ina has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Ina partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“We offer a lifetime health guarantee! All puppies come with AKC reg, microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed by a vet, and delivery is typically included in most cases. We deliver everywhere in the US. Each puppy in the litter is priced the same, regardless of sex or color. Each litter may be priced a bit differently. Your deposit comes off of your total balance.”

Ina may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. When you're raising puppies, there is no better feeling than when you hear your vet say "They all look great, you're doing a really good job with them!" 😁 The World Travelers litter visited Shoal Creek Animal Hospital today for their vet checks and vaccines. Their quiet, easy temperaments make for such nice trips. They napped through vacuums and all the hustle of a busy clinic. We're happy to report that everyone has good hearts, eyes, ears, and teeth! They're passport ready! 🐩

The puppies' thoughts on pics today were "mehhh" but I had to grab a couple for their 3 week old birthday today! I can't believe we're already at 3 weeks. They had their second nail trim and dremel today. They're already pretty mobile and exploring and that will be ramping up this week! But they still prefer to nap. 💤

About Ellie
Ellie is the calmest, most easy going girl in my program. Her exceptional temperament and willingness to please are the exact traits we try to produce in our poodles. While she is a little larger than our "perfect ideal" 25 pound dog, her other qualities were too good to pass over. She is genetically tested and OFA certified for hips, elbows, and cardiac. We look forward to welcoming a Zeke x Ellie litter this fall.

Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Full Embark Panel, DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
