I'm Veronica S., the breeder behind Nirvana Goldens located in Port St Lucie, FL. We love this breed and the experience of having litters! Our mission is to raise pups that are set to become the best companions. We are dog lovers through and through! Our pups are such an important part of our lives, and we can’t imagine being without them. It’s an amazing experience as breeders to provide others with puppies that we know will bring them the same joy.

Why did you start breeding?
Our journey began as lifelong dog lovers who wanted to raise Goldens the right way. After experiencing firsthand the difference a well-bred, healthy Golden can make for a family, we decided to build a program focused on temperament, health, and lifelong support for every puppy placed.What makes your program special?
We focus on health, temperament, and lifelong fit. All puppies are raised in-home, receive early socialization, and undergo Volhard Puppy Aptitude Testing to match each pup to the right family. Parents are health tested prior to breeding to ensure a healthy head start. We’re committed to producing Goldens that are balanced, confident, and a joy to own—plus ongoing support for every family.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include dark golden and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Veronica has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

We are confident her future puppies will make exceptional therapy dogs, offering comfort and support to those in need. We anticipate litters produced to be potential service dogs. Emmie is a remarkable golden, weighing 54lbs, with a captivating caramel and chestnut coat. When we brought her home back in 2021 we fell in love with her adorable and intelligent nature. Her cleverness shines as she opens doors for her furry siblings showcasing her intelligence. Her loyalty and affable nature fill our family with joy. Emmie thrives on adventures and cuddles alike, with minimal shedding and a soft, flowing dark coat that occasionally catches the sun. Her grace and charm are sure to be passed on to her offspring, potentially excelling as swimmers and hunting companions!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), PRA, Golden Retriever 2, PRA, Golden Retriever 1
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
