I'm Dave and Linda N., the breeder behind Nistler's Farm Corgis located in Salem, MO. We are a hobby breeder striving to raise athletic, happy, and healthy Corgis. We are a hobby breeder and we specialize in quality Pembroke Welsh Corgis that are healthy, athletic and small in size as our adult dogs are 10-12 inches tall and weigh between 18-23 pounds. We are trying to adhere to what the standard was when the breed was started in the 1930's. Our goal is to maintain three breeding females and we have raised each one of them in our home. We are not a kennel we just love our corgis and love the puppies. Our puppies and all our breeding dogs are all raised in our home. All our dogs and puppies are AKC registered and APRI registered. We do genetic testing on our breeding dogs for DM & vWD. References available upon request - and visit our website http://farmcorgis.com and see our "customer comments" page!
Q. & A. with Dave and Linda
Why did you start breeding?
We have raised hunting dogs on a small scale for 30 plus years prior to Corgis. After starting our first litter of Corgis, it took us almost two years to find breeding stock that would fit our standards. We have owned Corgis for the past 20 years and love the company of our dogs.
What makes your program special?
Our breedings are carefully planned and pedigree's studied to produce the best overall healthy and happy puppy we can. Our puppies are well socialized, and all raised in our home. We are present during birth and pups stay in our home until weaned when we move them to our attached garage which is heated and air conditioned. In living on a farm, our dogs experience open land and wooded trails and interactions with cats, chickens, horses, and people. Our Corgis are able to be with us in our daily lives. Our Corgis love to go for daily walks on our many trails through the woods. We live close to the Current River, and during the summers you will find us and our Corgis at the river enjoying the cooler temperatures along the water. They love to be with us, whatever we are doing.
We do not sell to brokers or petshops. Our pups come with limited registration as we do not wish our puppies to be raised in large breeding operations where they get little attention.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Kat
Kat is a happy goofy corgi. She loves all the dogs and cats. She is quite athletic and loves doing the zoomies, either chasing another dog or another dog chasing her all in circles. She loves going for walks in the woods. She minds very well. Happy, girl. We are excited to see her first litter with sire Rip. Kat is DM clear and vWD clear.
Emma, mom
Pembroke Welsh Corgi
About Emma
We purchased Emma at 5 months old from a breeder friend who has raised Corgis for 35+ years. Emma has the pedigree we love which goes back to our former sire Kip's grandparents. She is a beautiful girl very well mannered and a happy and well adjusted girl. She loves life on the farm and walks on our many miles of trails. Her first litter is on the ground and they are exceptional puppies! Emma has nice correct conformation and beautiful head and kind eyes. We are excited about this litter.
Rip, dad
Pembroke Welsh Corgi
About Rip
Rip is such a nice happy dog he has been easy to train and loves to be with us wherever we are in the house or outside on the farm. He continues to amaze us with his great personality and his athletic ability. His Dam is Kip's female from his last sired litter before retirement. We now have three litters sired by Rip.
