Meet the breeder

I'm Aumielle H., the breeder behind Noctua Kennels located in Kearney, NE. My mission is to raise healthy, well-tempered puppies with love and intention, prioritizing proper care, early development, and lifelong great health, while educating and supporting families and ensuring every baby feels safe, confident, and at home from the very first moment.

Q. & A. with Aumielle

  • Why did you start breeding?

I lost my first Great Dane at just 8 months, and it broke my heart. That loss showed me the need for healthier, longer-lived Danes. I’m dedicated to raising dogs with health testing, care, and intention, hoping to strengthen the breed and bring joy to families while honoring every dog’s life.
  • What makes your program special?

What makes my program unique is the love and care at its core. Every puppy is nurtured in a warm, family-filled home with gentle guidance. With health testing, temperament focus, and responsible breeding, I support families fully, ensuring each puppy grows confident, happy, and a lifelong companion.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blue, harlequin, mantle, merle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
