Meet the breeder

I'm Aumielle H., the breeder behind Noctua Kennels located in Kearney, NE. My mission is to make sure your new friend feels right at home as soon as they arrive. I’m dedicated to raising healthy puppies, providing valuable education, and giving these babies the love, care, and attention they truly deserve.

Q. & A. with Aumielle

  • Why did you start breeding?

I started because when I got my first Dane he passed at 8 months. I saw a need for healthy Great Danes that had health testing prior to being bred. I want to try and help the longevity of the breed. I want to bring amazingness the to breed by health testing and not over breeding.
  • What makes your program special?

I look at it as I want to help make this breed healthier and live longer. I want to provide homes with happy, healthy babies.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include brindle, fawn, blue, harlequin, mantle, merle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
