I'm Jolie J., the breeder behind Nolie Doodles located in Texas. We work hard to produce healthy, well-rounded Goldendoodles that will make others as happy as our dogs have made us! We are dedicated to always providing our buyers and our puppies with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies.
Q. & A. with Jolie
Why did you start breeding?
I grew up on a farm and we always had farm dogs. I dreamed of growing up and breeding Maltese until I saw a goldendoodle. It was love at first sight so I had to get one and my dreams finally came true to breed beautiful healthy puppies.
What makes your program special?
All our puppies are well taken care of, socialized, and loved. We work together as a family and we all take a part in raising these beautiful puppies so that from the moment they are in the womb they get the best start at life! We love our mama so much and treat her like family.
When the puppies are three days
old we begin Early Scent Introduction (ESI) and
Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS).
ESI helps with nose awareness and confidence by
getting introduced to a new scent everyday. We
are currently on day 13 and they are working on
smelling coconut.
ENS stimulates the neurological system, which
helps to increase stress tolerance, improve
cardiac function, and enhance resistance to
disease. It involves holding the puppies in five
different positions for 3-5 seconds, rubbing in
between toes, and placing them on an ice pack.
We chart each puppies interaction on their
neonatal care chart from the Badass Breeder
Curriculum and weigh them each day. We do this
until they are 16 days old.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
