Meet the breeder

Q. & A. with Danelle

  • Why did you start breeding?

We both grew up in families that had several kids and just as many pets. In 1986, at an obedience trial with our chocolate lab, we saw a litter of Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies and it was love at first sight. Danelle contacted the breeder of the litter, Patty Blackwelder Gailey, and was able to adopt one of the puppies, Huey, for Bill's birthday. Huey grew up to be multiple Best In Show and Best In Specialty Show. Later we brought a little female, Melba Toast, home and she became the foundation dam of Nomad Corgis.
  • What makes your program special?

Bill & Danelle Brown share their hearts and their homes with this enchanting breed. Since our involvement in corgi’s began, we have worked to improve our breed by breeding with the Standard as set forth by the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America in mind.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
